In 1994, a group of likeminded people from Elim International Church started Capital Care Health Centre. The original service focused on pregnancy counselling. It began providing general practice services in 1997 and has grown to over seventeen staff; and are always looking for others who want to support our vision.
We are a charitable trust committed to spreading hope and life through our community in the heart of Wellington city. This mandate has led us to start monthly health, wellness, and nutrition group which counsels our patients in every aspect of their lives, focusing on health rather than illness. We believe medical excellence encompasses the physical, spiritual, psychological, and family health of patients. Based on the Te Whare tapa wha" framework
We also believe healthcare should be available to everyone. We try to keep our fees low and also have a pay-it-forward scheme funded by our patients to help other patients who struggle to cover medical costs.
