How to get a prescription
If you think you may need a prescription medicine, please make an appointment with the doctor.
Your local pharmacist should be able to give you advice for non-prescription medication.
How to get a repeat prescription
Your doctor will decide who can have a repeat prescription. From time to time, we will ask you to see your doctor to review your medication. We do this to monitor your illness and medication.
You can either phone the practice and leave your request on the script line or in most cases you can request a repeat prescription using your MMH online account.
Prescriptions take up to 72 hrs to be processed.
If you have an urgent script and have run out of medication, you can phone the medical centre on the day and this will be actioned as soon as possible.
Please note, that you will be charged an urgent script fee for this quick turnaround service,

Or you can request a prescription and your GP will decide if you can have a prescription or not?
